Sometimes a painting just has to be abstract, because concepts like Time and Space are very abstract to our minds. My opinion is that Time is a memory-space. We live in the Now but can visit memories at the left, right and so on. We can even change them, depending on how we view them. Sometimes they can be painful, sometimes not. And viceversa.
We can always change our past, present and future. It may all be preordained, but in an infinity of possible timelines we have the free choice of walking down one path or the other. And every time the path splits up in endless new opportunities and changes. Until a new node-point is reached. And endlessly, eternally, we walk our ways. Opening and closing timelines, every memory always present to be viewed in the Now, if we so wish.
Because we are here to experience, learn and bring back new knowledge to the All we are.
